Update on Luncheon Event on Friday, December 1

Dear GNCC Supporter and Luncheon Seat Holder,

Due to the unforeseen circumstance of the U.S. Senate being called into session at 11:00AM on Friday, December 1, Senator Ted Cruz will be unable to attend our Luncheon event. (We hope to reschedule with the Senator sometime next year. He and his staff have been very cooperative!)

The good news is that we will continue on with this event! Mr. Jim McIngvale (AKA "Mattress Mack") will step up to the plate as our Keynote Speaker! A successful Northside-based Businessman as Owner and Operator of Gallery Furniture and a Dedicated and Passionate Philanthropist who has been there for those in need in our community time and time again, Jim McIngvale is a true Houston institution. We look forward to taking part in his inspiring message!

Jessica Hart, Southeast Regional Director for the Office of Senator Ted Cruz, will appear and speak on Senator Cruz's behalf. (Thank you. Jessica!)

As previously planned, you will have a fabulous Italian meal prepared by Chef Leo Coronel from Rocco's. There will be several of our Elected Officials and Business and Community Leaders either participating in our program or in attendance and strong opportunities for Networking. Plus, proceeds from this event will assist this Chamber in carrying out programs such as a proposed College Scholarship Program for a student from both Northside High School and Sam Houston High School.
