ABOUT DIANA LERMA PFEIFER

Diana was born and raised in Houston, TX. She has worked downtown as an admin since 1983. The last 10 years with Kayne Anderson, as Executive Admin/Office Manager. She believes that no matter how much the exterior landscape changes, nor how much the industry and technology evolve; the one thing that should remain consistent is the intent of the work. Software comes and goes, adjustments need to be made but the purpose, (intention), of the value brought by your individual work performance results in the value you bring to the team. To help shape that picture, a love for people has to be number one. Sharing information is number two. Holding the cards close to your vest may work in poker but it is not what builds confidence in a team atmosphere.

Diana has been involved with community affairs for the last 20 years. Serving currently as President of Lindale Park Civic Club (term ending Aug 31, 2019), sitting on the recently formed grassroots organization, STOP TxDOT I-45!, and a working member of Northside Strong. She has previously served as member of Community Leadership Team SNC 51, received the Colleen Barrett Award for Houston Admins in 2017, was the recipient of national community service award known as the 2015 Dorothy Richardson Award for her work around requiring cabling where METRO lines intersect with schools, public parks and other major pedestrian access. Diana was also the honoree of 2012 YMCA Volunteer of the Year.

She feels everyone could make a difference, no matter how big or small, giving of yourself and doing it with compassion can be the key to change you or your community needs. One voice, one step, creates the footprint of change.

* Active Silver-Level Chamber Members on up will receive one complimentary breakfast per company.
