How Do These Events Work?

The format for the Coffee N' Contacts events held by the Greater Northside Chamber of Commerce includes the following:

There will be approximately 15 minutes at the beginning in which to mingle and meet with other attendees.

Once the meet and mingle session is complete, attendees will be asked to sit down and may begin to order breakfast.  After all attendees have ordered, Each attendee will be asked to stand up and provide a 1-Minute Introduction--THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE EVERYONE'S UNINTERRUPTED ATTENTION!

1-Minute Introductions should include the following information:

* Your Name & Position,

* Your Company's Name,

* A Brief Description of What it is that Your Company Does,

* What Entities Would Make Good Referrals for You.

(As not to interfere with the flow of the event, we ask that introductions be kept to 1 minute.)

Upon completion of 1-minute introductions, We will present our Featured Presenter.  The Featured Presenter for this event will be Liz Castro Vega from Veteran Chamber Member, Dignity Memorial. (See below for more information on the topic of her presentation, Dignity Memorial and Liz.)  There will be a Q&A Session with Liz immediately following her presentation.

After conclusion of the event, James Montalbano, Membership Director for the Greater Northside Chamber of Commerce, will remain to answer any questions about our Chamber and its various Membership options.  Attendees are also welcome to section off into smaller groups in order to further inquire about each other's offerings.

Topic: Pre-Planning

We all make preparations for our family’s well-being in case of an accident or job loss. But it is just as important to plan ahead for the inevitable — to record and communicate our end-of-life wishes to help ease the stress and emotional burden on our families.
