Executive Director Search 2022

The Greater Northside Chamber of Commerce is in search for a new Executive Director

We are seeking a dynamic leader that will continue to grow our chamber of commerce.  This leader will have the opportunity to work with a growing board of directors as well as get to know our diverse chamber membership to put forth innovative events, activities and sessions that will increase networking opportunities among members, grow businesses and partnerships as well as educate members on how to improve business practices.

Qualifications:

* Expertise and proven success in fundraising, development and sales

* Experience in grant writing preferred 

* Demonstrated leadership ability

* Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor

* Ability to work a demanding, primarily self-directed, flexible work schedule

* Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills

* Working knowledge of computers and database systems

* Reliable transportation to day and evening meetings; occasional weekend events/meetings required

Position Type: Independent Contractor/Consultant
Contract Terms: Monthly stipend and Commissions on Memberships & Events
Industry: Non-Profit / Social Enterprise
Experience: Some required in fundraising, development and sales
Position Location: Houston, TX
Start Date: Immediately
