Guest Speaker: Mike Martinez is the Assistant Director for the Harris County Toll Road Authority’s (HCTRA) Public Engagement Division. Mike has extensive experience in managing and coordinating all aspects of public engagement projects and initiatives. Most recently Mike led an extensive public engagement campaign to solicit the communities’ input on the Visioning Study for HCTRA’s Hardy Downtown Connector Project. Prior to arriving at HCTRA, Mike spent 15 years with the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County as the Director for Public Engagement where he successfully developed strategies and directed public engagement initiatives for the Light Rail Expansion Project.
