Claudia Sanchez

Claudia is an accomplished community leader with over fifteen year experience in leading, managing, and establishing programs across various platforms. She is dedicated to connecting resources and collaborating with diverse teams to create processes that lead to opportunities to all. Her background in the nonprofit sector most recently includes the YMCA of Greater Houston where she held various leadership roles, including Community Executive Director and Executive Director of Outreach. In 2021, Claudia joined Avenue as their Director of Community Initiatives. She is leading their comprehensive community development work in the Greater Northside communities and collaborating with partners and community leaders to make communities more viable and healthier places to live in. Claudia is married, and with her husband are parents to three beautiful daughters and one handsome boy.
