Victoria Lara
Victoria Lara is the Director of Economic Development for Harris County Precinct 2 Commissioner Adrian Garcia. Her previous roles have included Director of Business Development for Impact Stone Design, Inc., Community Engagement for the University of Houston, and Texas Constituency Lead for Mike Bloomberg. She is a member of the Texas Economic Development Council, the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership Aerospace Aviation Committee, and the Greater Houston Partnership (HEREDA) the Regional Economic Development Advisory Committee who is the primary business leadership committee that provides oversight, guidance, and assistance for the Partnership’s regional economic development initiatives. Victoria is a graduate from the University of Houston with degree in Corporate Communication. Victoria has completed the Texas Economic Development Council Texas A& M Basic Economic Development Training, TEDC Sales Tax Training, and is a soon to be graduate of the Lone Star College Community Development Institute where she will earn her Professional Community and Economic Developer (PCED) certification. Victoria currently serves on the City of Houston Mayor’s Hispanic Advisory Board and has served as a Mayoral Appointee for the Houston Arts Alliance. Her greatest work is being a mother of four kids and a wife to her husband Erik.
