A Lot was Gathered from Our Luncheon with Our Champ, Rocky Juarez!
Our Luncheon event this past Wednesday ran the gamut as far as what we all gathered from it!
We gained a greater knowledge regarding the accessibility to primary healthcare in our communities from Dr. Linda Dune and her staff and students at the School of Nursing at University of Houston-Downtown,
We were updated as to the current status of our "Y" from JP Cortez from MD Anderson Family YMCA,
We were educated, entertained, touched and inspired thanks to a fabulous keynote address from our very own Rocky Juarez from Rocky's Boxing Gym,
And, you know what, strong business connections were made as well!
Sincerest Thanks, as always, to Maggy Goergen, Rocio Witte and staff at BakerRipley for being the tremendous and accommodating hosts that they always are!
Kudos, yet again, to Chef Leo and his staff at Rocco's for their absolutely gourmet food offerings!
Shout outs of great appreciation to:
Our Event Co-Sponsor - University of Houston-Downtown,
Our Table Sponsors - Dignity Memorial & MD Anderson Family YMCA,
Jessica Sarpu and students from Looscan Elementary School.
Many thanks to all of our Chamber Leaders and Members who assisted on the day of the event:
