New Sculpture "Snapshot" is Simply a Northside Treasure
We were proud to be in attendance for the Ribbon Cutting to introduce "Snapshot", a sculpture created by Art Uniti Snapshot Sculpture Project (# Snapshot Sculpture), a team consisting of Tami Moschioni, Nicola Parente and Metal Craftsman Spencer J. Elliott.
This sculpture is simply a treasure. Placed just behind BakerRipley Leonel Castillo Community Center, with our Downtown Skyline providing the backdrop. Snapshot is destined to be a destination point not only those who live in our city but for visitors as well. We are simply thrilled to have this in Northside!
To unveil this treasure a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held in front of the site at BakerRipley. Master of Ceremonies was, our very own, Adrian Garcia Commissioner Harris County Precinct 2. Also providing eloquent remarks were: Council Member Karla Cisneros, Rebecca Reyna, Executive Director - Greater Northside Management District and Bolivar Fraga, Sr. Community Engagement Developer - BakerRipley Leonel Castillo.
Some great music from Mariachi Oro de mi Tierra really helped set the mood for this celebratory event.
Shout out to our Member Partners - Maggy Goergen and staff from BakerRipley Leonel Castillo for being the gracious hosts that they always are and Rebecca Reyna and staff from the Greater Northside Management District for all of their efforts to make this fine work of art in our community happen!
